They said “no matter what you have won an google mini but there are other prizes on offer”. The lady asked me a series of questions which I answered all of, then she asked if representatives could come to my house tonight to talk about mortgage insurance or taxation savings. I said absolutely not. She said but you just said these things are important to you. I said there is no way salesman are welcome in my home. And she she said oh well thanks anyway and we said good-bye. I guess “no matter what” doesn’t apply if you say no! Scammers.

Caller: I believe its from an ebay scammer

I was being scammed on eBay 1 day before this from a selling account based in Penrith NSW Australia.
$1500.00 item (eBay deleted) after i paid saying it was a suspicious seller.
1 day later this number calls me for the Google home mini.
Who called me = An Australian Caucasian voice, self-trained in cold calling people to obtain information.
The age of this man sounded between 27 to 35 years old.

first it was a silent line, then when the un-muted me, it was a call centre so i put the phone down. scam. call received at 408pm today. 8 may 2019.

Congratulated me for wining a google home mini. Wanted to validate my details. When told that I was renting he terminated the call saying the promotion was only for home owners.

Spam - apparently I won a competition. I never complete competitions online.

The person claims they are calling on behalf of a Brisbane company and mentioned a couple of names for being online winners of a prize
The names are made up
If you call the number back you get a “this number is disconnected” message

Don’t answer any calls from this number

Number calls repeatedly and leaves no message. When called back, the number is not in service. Believe it is a telemarketer as I have received calls from 0488 828 633 previously and the same thing occurs. Recommend blocking the number as it is just an annoyance.

They call but don’t leave a message, at around 4pm every day. I phoned them. Recorded message saying ‘your call is very important to us, please stay on the line and you will be transferred to the next available agent,’ that just loops over and over.

Adam from some 'survey' I did (?) about 'new home owners' that may be eligible for a google home mini - I dont trust it. And just hung up.

Rang back and 'we got your number from a survey, good news is you've won some stupid bs'. Scam.

Getting calls from this mobile number every day. Have no idea who it is.
