This is a persistent telemarketer & upon calling this number it rings itself out. I have reported this caller for continual harassment.

Caller: Another nuisance..... zpest.

Didn't recognise this number so googled it. Thanks for all previous comments.

So I save the number, give it the name zpest, so all the zpests are at the end of my real contacts ....... then I press done (up at the top), go down again and press 'Block this Caller' (which is in blue) then press "Block Contact' (which is in red). This works, all the pests are called zpest so I don't have to see their names again and I do not hear from them again.

I have 45 zpests so far. When I am older, bored and in a nursing home; I might just give them a call if awake in the middle of the night !!!

These people will NOT STOP calling. I have blocked the number but still get the missed call messages through and they are calling at least 3 times a day regardless of the fact that they are blocked.

Caller: some guy with almost an american accent

Scammers saying I have 2600 to claim... if I pay 49 bux. Sounded real mad when I didnt provide my bank details but I asked them to call back at 6pm so I can gather some people and prank them.

As soon as I answer, they hang up!
They have rung 6 times in two days. Background sounds very noisy. I have now blocked them.

Scam, I was new in country and I thought they might not be able to steal money by having my BSB and account number. I LOST $100. Please dont pick up, $49 2times. ABN 606218213

Nuisance call every day and when I have called back it has answered with complete silence. No sound when I answer and then the phone hangs up so now blocked. Perhaps they got my number from the dodgy government webpage list that is supposed to stop nuisance calls?

Scam. Do not answer. I blocked this. Like other blocked numbers, I now know they CAN BYPASS being blocked!!!😠
Tough. I NEVER answer a number I do not know. If they was to waste their time and pay someone's wages to keep trying, diddums. More fool them!

I have been receiving calls from this number at least 2 times a day for the past week, which was about comparing life insurance policies, even though I told them that I do not want to change my current insurance status....

I called back and it was answered in a call center from the sounds of it. the man who answered said the name of the company was called Platinum Holiday Club

they keep me calling me 3 times a day and even though i have blocked the number i get notifcations

Platinum Holiday Club- called me 3 times a day, 4 days in a row -no messages. Called them back and demanded they remove my number from their database. Blocked number anyway.

Caller: My Mobile Identified as Spam Caller

Received 3 calls in total today ( 11/09/18). My mobile identifies the call as suspected spam. So I missed all 3 calls, and each time it goes to my voice mail. The first two voice mail, sounded very noisy cannot make what the caller was saying, and then the call got cut off. The third time, I can hear a guy speaking in a chinese language to another lady before asking to speak to me ( called me by my name) Strange how did the caller get my name? Are our mobile phone providers are selling our data to these scam callers? Who do we report this to. I have now blocked the number ( good thing its consistently the same number unlike many a times I get numerous out of area calls in a day from various numbers on my landline ( which all has the same characteristic of being a spam call ie claiming to be from Microsoft Windows, or Telstra or they simply hung up) . I have called Telstra to block a long list of numbers 1 year ago, it goes quiet for a while before it starts again.
