Called claiming they worked for a Government Super company and the government made changes to the laws of superannuation and to protect my super account, I needed to answer 3 identity questions. Not realising I work for AusSuper myself, told them that I saw right through their fraud and then they hung up.

I blocked their number but my phone still shows they try to ring every single day numerous times. It's sending me insane. It should be classed as harassment and be illegal.

Prick keeps calling me five times in one week

Previously they were constantly calling from another mobile number 0480 025 426 with the same result, l answer but there's nobody there so l blocked that number 18 months ago!!
Today l receive a call from 0488 814 232 so l answer, nobody there so l return the call....Global Shop Direct!!
Blocked that number also but l cannot believe after reading ALL the complaints (over various forums including this one) why nothing has been done to stop these calls!!
The (Global Shop Direct) brand is damaged beyond repair and given their limited product range should be out of business in the not too distant future.

When they call me now I have put the number in my phone as "Do Not Answer This". That saves me some stress when they call and keep calling. My Do Not Answer This list is getting bigger and bigger :-)

If you order anything from Global shop direct... located somewhere in asia. Not only will you wait about 2 months for your delivery. You will have paid at least a third more for the product available elsewhere on line.
BUT.
Most importantly your phone number and email address are sold without your knowledge or consent and not only used by them to constantly contact you but also third parties.
Be warned.
Block and number search all unknown calls from then on. Sadly thats life from then on... unless you change your phone number and email.
I now run a burner number for all online purchases a top up credit card that has a very low balance and an email just for buying anything online.
As a footnote RACV pet insurance also have the same modus operandi using your enquiry details regardless of committing to their products.
Dont ever give your real contact details other than a delivery address. You will never get a call with a legitimate organisation and you can always check your buy email anytime.

I have tried to block this number. Unfortunately they call continuously using different numbers..
Every single day around the same time 😡

I answered today to shut them up afte 3 days in a row, said i had been picked to receive huge discounts - firstly a security motion light and then that you beaut removable sticky tape to stick stuff on walls, said i wasn't interested and hung up, blocked number

Blocked this number after receiving numerous calls, they never leave a message. Reading comments above I am guessing it is Global Shop Direct. They now call me from another mobile number, 0480 039 038. I generally don't pick up numbers I don't know for this scammy reason, I'm not interested in this method of purchasing. Very annoying.

Getting Very Sick of these pricks from Global shop direct calling me four times a day I have Blocked the number but they keep calling. When you answer no one there.

I love getting calls from these guys, they’re not debt collectors…

This number has called several times a day for the past month. They don't give up despite you not answering they are very annoying
