Called numerous times over the past couple of days. Finally answered, said they were doing work for the government around people’s super fund. Scam

someone called fromthis number, my smart fone picked it up as scam - I answered the call anyway to listen who's on the other line, when I did answer the fone, the person hangup!!! this is the 3rd time within 2weeks where I get random calls from different mobile numbers and they just hang up? Strange not sure why? is it hackers trying to get out info?

Says there a insurance company

I returned a call from this number 0488 813 505 but no one answered the call
