Clearly a scam. We have no ANZ account. The message has poor grammar, accidentally replaced a letter with an emoji, and the suggested weblink address includes the detail >www.car-video.cz<
Our mobile # is silent too! Wish someone could shut down these clowns.

5.18am this morning a text comes through from 'CommBank' asking me, the 'Dear customer', to reconfigure my online banking details and Personal Verification questions and answers. They were wanting me to click on a link. Funny thing is I don't bank with the Commonwealth Bank. Very unfortunate that this world has way too many dodgy people in it! Good people - be wary!

SCAMMER
Got a message saying "CommBank:Dear Customer, We recommend you verify and reconform accurately your login credentials and Personal Verification Questions and answers for an update. It;s important that you complete both section 1 & 2 click link below." No bank would send a SMS out with this kind of wording.

If you have accidentally clicked on the link in your message, immediately change all your passwords and other access info to any important things stored in your PC, THEN ring the bank, else your bank account may be cleaned out while you are waiting in the cue to talk to bank staff! Now you can read the rest of my notes. Received Message on 7. June 14:11 h: "CommBank Update:Dear Customer etc....~". Letters from Banks always address the customer by name, never "Dear Customer". A Bank will never request access details via a text message, nor will anyone ever asked you to click on a link and give away details to help with access to your bank account, unless he/she/it is a thief. The Link I received came from India: "https://stanjo.in/Bank/CommBank/www.commbank.com.au/personal/login-netbank.html". Write down the details of your scam letter then delete it, go to "http://scamwatch.gov.au" and follow instructions. I hope they catch the thieving bastards!

Just received the same ANZ scam phishing attempt SMS from the website rotomouldingmachine.com. It seems that the owner of the site resides in Nobby Beach, QLD 4218 according to scamadviser.
