Stupid scammer even knew my name. called me by name and hung up. called back but its disconnected. why cant any authorities do something. this is happening so frequently these days.

This caller is trying to record your voice, then they might try to use it for voice verification if your voice is linked with any banking system. Not many banks have voiced Authenticator yet, but these people should be reported. It’s an Optus number.

Caller: Claiming to be from 'Inform Australia'

Caller wanted only a few minutes of my time for a short 'survey'. Didn't answer any questions or confirm any of my details, but managed to get him to tell me he got my details from Australia On Disc. According to Australia On Disc, this is a lie. He hung up as soon as I said I wont answer any questions without so much as a good bye.

Caller: Someone Elwood thought they knew more about me than I do

Just received a call 6,55pm from this number they stated my full name and postcode then continued to rabble on. When I asked who are you are what exactly are you representing? They rabbled on with what they said the first time... when I said No Thankyou the line then went dead.

I called back number 0481 561 212 rang once then gets disconnected autoamtically.

Looks like a spammer, waits for a second or two and disconnects...
