Caller: Liars and Scammers They claimed that I had entered a competition to win an IPhone. When I denied it and challenged them, they said that it could have been up to two years ago. They were pushing a wealth creation course to be held in Cranbourne. Told them not to call again. They hung up. They are a pack of liars, steer clear and block them.

Caller: Claims I won iphone but actually pushed Info night for home owners Claims I won iphone but actually pushed an info night for home owners to get card details that he claimed he wasn't after. Just hang up on such scammers claiming you've won something when you answer the call but you know they're going on about something else.

Have blocked them after repeated calls with no messages left and they ring my wife's mobile at exactly the same time as mine?

Repeated calls to mine and my husband's mobile numbers. No message left. When I have answered it, they often hang up when I use our business name.

I received two phone calls from this phone number today. I answered both calls. The first call was a man from "Aurora" who claimed I won an iPhone from completing some survey. He then tried to get me to attend some home owners info night where I would be given an iPad for free. The second call was a rude woman from "Aurora, Harcourts". I asked how they got my information and she said "oh probably some marketing thing". She asked if I was the owner of my home, then she said I must not be the home owner because my voice sounded "too young to own a home" then she said she must have the wrong information and hung up.

Repeated calls, no message left. Returned call and was a voice message machine. Pretty sure it is a scam.

Seems to be one of those scams where they try to get you to say "yes".
Me: Hello? .... Hello? Them: Oh hi is that Mary? Me: Who am I speaking to? Them: Mary can you hear me? Me: I can hear you. ** CLICK ** and then they hung up on me.

They called, I answered and immediately they hung up without saying a word. I called back and a person answers the call with 'hello <my name>'. I asked how she knew my name, says that I must have entered a competition, and I had been selected to attend a seminar on property investing or something....in a different state to where I lived....so I must have entered wrong details when I entered the competition - yeah right. Scammers.
