I answered and didn’t talk and there was a guy saying hello is *my name* there...then after a few times he said “don’t worry about it, just hang up, we’ll give the prize to the next person” then he waited another 30seconds before hanging up...sounds like a scam to me!

They called and I missed it but after reading this won’t be answering if they call again. Thanks for posting everyone.

Picked up and kept silent. Then they hung up.

The number called yesterday on my mobile but I misssed it. They rang again today. It was a woman who knew my name, and was I interested in a wealth creating seminar coming up in the town I live in. When I said no, she told me I’d won a tablet. I hung up. I called the number back from our landline which is a private number. A voice message says the number is no longer in service.

Looking for a guy call Cameron - been happening for a few years how. When I say there’s no Cameron, they try and engage in more conversation to gather more info. Blocked.

Called twice, first time missed it, no message, second time answered no one there. Blocked now.

rang back number disconected dont answer scam

have been called twice now on 2 separate days. both times i answer and they hang up. Have added it to my blocked numbers list on my phone.

I actually answered and it hung up on me.... called it back from my work landline and was put in a queue but never reached anyone or was given any info about who the company is.

told me I entered into a competition 24 months ago and I won a chance to meet someone (didn't know who) politely declined and that was it

A complete scam guy saying I won a prize. Would not tell me what the prize was he just wanted personal information. I made up some to see what it was about, when he wanted banking details I called him out on the scam and he hung up.

scammers, claiming you have won prizes in competitions you never entered

Said that I’d won a free pass to a wealth creation workshop in Canberra (on how to pay your mortgage off quicker) and would get a free android tablet. Also said I’d entered a competition through Coles, Woolworths, Bunnings or BWS. Could say which retailer and were incredibly persistent when I repeated that I wasn’t interested and that they’d pass the “prize” along. They asked a few times about whether I had a mortgage. Definitely a scam.

I called back number 0480 017 416 it says the number I have dialed is not in service anymore.
