Caller: Anna from Telstra Technical Department

This number phoned me earlier today and then two more times since. Very persistent!!

Caller: 0478 564 821

Claims to be Telstra re internet. Have called at least 6 times today. You get that suspicious longish pause before an Asian accented male comes on.

Caller: Guy call Tony (with Indian accent)

He gave me a Telstra ID & said that my internet was being hacked. Used Telstra chat to verify his ID & he's a scammer

about my internet - unfortunately I really do have an internet problem and Telstra are sending a technician. So it was handy to be able to check the number to see if it was for real ! thanks

Caller: Anna from Telstra Technical Department

Received call from this number. Said the usual 'your Telstra internet is giving us error messages' etc. Told Anna I don't have Telstra. She asked to speak to the home owner (Mrs D) & I told her that she no longer lives here, then she called me a liar!! I told her she wasn't from Telstra so she was a liar. She then swore at me & hung up.

Caller: Fake Telstra

Another one of those calls saying they are from Telstra and wanting to check your internet connection and that I had a virus and need to follow their instructions to rectify it.
I can't believe that people are still falling for this one.
