They 'sell' advertising in publications, usually under the guise of charity or supporting organisations. Names like "Firefighters safety gazette" or the "Australian police forces association". Same mob even fronted as "Police legacy". Wait for thick Aussie drawl

Absolute scam.

Called from 3 different but very similar numbers within 2 minutes.
Apparently from Neighbourhood Watch and asked to speak with "the business owner". When I said there wasn't one owner per se, they hung up.

Claims to be from Australian Institute of Police which does not exist.

Someone claiming to be from neighbourhood watch. I asked if I could have more information and then the line dropped.

Caller: Neighborhood watch

A female called new my first name.
Said she was from neighborhood watch, said I was the contact for Amanda Goodwin who I have never heard of.

Said they were asking for money for a local police publication...phone cut out, and couldn't return call. I text to see if they were going to call back...no response.

tried to call back. call couldnr be connected

Claimed to be from some police unit inquiring about my business name. All calls back to this number are engaged.

I assume it is that scam where they try to get you to say "Yes".
