Called selling investment advice. Called back but the number is disconnected. Clearly a scam.

Called - confirmed my name & hung up.
Number disconnected.

I answered, silence from their end, then they hung up on me.

Caller: Indian Woman

I dialled this number and like everyone else found it was disconnected. But within ten minutes afterwards I was called from this number An indian woman told me Novocheck are seeking investors and asked me if their representative could call me tomorrow. I asked her about the strange calls followed by hang ups that my wife had received and this woman denied all knowledge of the situation, even when I invited her to go on line and check herself waht people we re saying about it. Obviously the 'disconnected' number has a recording device on it to record the numbers of people who call it.

My wife received two calls in quick succession from this number, both asking "Are you Miss Yang?. My wife confirmed her name and they hung up the phone. This is obviously a scammer or worse. It might be a scammer machine-testing numbers to find which ones are answered before subsequently calling back to try criminal activities. We have blocked the number and placed this mobile on recorded message response, so we will only answer recognised missed calls from recognised numbers from now on.

Called saying don’t you know who I am, I still love you. I tried to call back off another phone and it was disconnected

Called me, I answered with hello and my name and they repeated it back to me and hung up. I called back and number disconnected. Not sure that the point of that is?! I’m on do not call register.

I have received several calls from this number between December 2020 and today 6th Jan 2021 but I don't answer and don't call back as there is never a message on my voicemail. I am now blocking these calls.

Got multiple missed calls from 0476 857 562 (including at 6pm on a Friday evening). Called back and got disconnected. Finally spoke to someone and its a sales call, sounds like a scam.

I called back number 0476 857 562 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
