Federal police

Called Federal police on 13AFP they have never heard of this place or man. They also said that they don't have a quarterly newsletter distributed. Then called country wide aus the company stated on the follow up email. The girl on the other end of the phone assured me that he would have followed compliance and not addressed himself as a federal police officer. I assured the lady that I had nothing to gain from lying about the situation and asked her to review to call as I felt pressured into saying yes as I thought he was an AFP officer.. I then Made them cancel my order, also asked them not to call again. As I will not support a company their allows their employees to so easily mislead their customers. AFP suggested that if this happens to anyone else to put a complaint on ACORN website.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. My friend warned me about it after I got off the phone to Nathan (the apparent police officer who was calling) also tried the same spiel with her company (but she said yes) only to find out that no magazine is published and you never receive a copy after they payments are finalised.
Thank f*ck she let me know ASAP , or I'd be $330 down. I find it appalling that they target small business owners who already struggle. Pathetic.

Received a call from him, he was looking at a flyer I had up at the shops. He asked how business was, and then claimed to be federal police and then started mocking my company name, at which point I hung up. First name was Nathan, I can't remember the surname. He rang back immediately but I didn't answer.
