Some sub continent bloke asking me random questions about eBay

Will play recorded message to say you have been billed on your card for the purchase of an iPhone 7 on ebay and if you have not made this purchase press 1.
Which I did. "Sub-continent voice" with children and others in background started to ask the questions - full name so that refund can be issued, etc, etc. and I'm sure the number of the card would have been asked if I had continued. I asked for identification and was told "ebay call centre" at which point I hung up.
Absolutely certain that this is a scam.
Checked my card balance which I keep at a very low amount anyway. No activity.
