I called back the number 0470 102 953 and reached vm but couldn't hear the company name

I also received a missed call from this number today and glad I didn't answer. Googled the number before calling back and found this forum. Called back anyway and it said "this number is not connected, please check the number and try again".
Thanks to the person who started this chat for helping us avoid such calls.

Pain in the backside. Call at the most inconvenient times. Third time in as many days! Selling some cr@p. Do not pick up. Enter this number in your “block” call function.

My new phone identified this number as a likely fraud.

Caller: Hazel from Lead Gen Co

First call, I said I was busy not interested (suspected scamming). They called me again in another 2 minutes. They told me my name and asked how I was, wanted to compare my electricity rates. I asked where they got my details from, and she said from a phone book. I said - my mobile, from a phone book? She paused for a couple of minutes and hung up. Avoid!!

Annoying! Has rung several times a night between 7-8pm, tried to call back but states it’s disconnected.

Got a call from this number at 4:00pm on this friday and i was going to pick it up but 2-3 seconds later (not enough time for me to answer) hangs up....... no message.....thought nothing of it and got called again today at 10:44am and wasn't at my phone to answer.....no message....was expecting calls maybe for job interviews since i've put my name on seek and indeed a few times in the past week so........

they called me 3 times yesterday and 3 times today but you are not able to call back says the number you have called is disconnected.

Called the number and the message said to check the number and try again.

They called and then hung up when I answered. Blocked!

Caller: about electricity payment/asian women did not say who she represented.

from an address we have moved from 16 months ago. my info seems to have been sold as she new my old address and has mob.phone no.3x times she has called in 6 months or so.

SCAM. They knew my first name (probably all of it), my number obviously and trying to connect all these with an older address. Very sneaky!!!
