I have recently just been scamed out of 1700 for a deposit on a puppy and he turned out to be a scamer... Think I know this person and think he used my dogs photos for the scam, if you send me the photo I can confirm

Caller: Darcy Bamblett

Completely scammed me $1500 for a Great Dane pup. 100% sure he got my number from gumtree.

His numbers are 0434 130 781 and 0422 250 528

Caller: Dorothy Bamblett

This person called himself Dorothy on his sms. He responded to a wanted add for ragdoll kittens and said he lived in Hepburn and had a ragdoll male kitten for $650. He said there were heaps of people enquiring and that if I put a 30% deposit on it, then I could have the kitten. After putting down a deposit, I tried to ask to pay the next amount in cash however he said that it all needed to be deposited in his account! He told me that he took the kitten to the vet and asked for $150 more as he was shocked with the bill, but I told him I had paid enough and a deal was a deal. So he said he would sort something out. I had already paid him the full $650 by this stage! - I asked him for a receipt of the vet bill and never heard back from him. I now realise that I was totally scammed by him!

Contacted me stating that she had Cavoodle pups for sale. Located in Joondalup. Name on Gumtree is "Lori". Referred to herself as "Dorathy" << yes that spelling. Sent photos some showing up from Google.
Wanted $$ for deposit without seeing pups. Saw the comments on here and it all makes sense.
If it's too good to be true it usually is unfortunately.
