An Indian guy called and said I had been a long customer of Optus and so will be entitled to a free promotion they are running (I have been in Australia for 2 months so this was obvious BS).
Of course they had none of my details and wanted my address

Scammer! they just called and tried to tell me id been a loyal long time customer etc

She wouldn't shut up and kept asking for my address - didn't ask for my name or any details to verify my account. I'm not even with optus!

Got a call from a foreign guy and he told me "I'd been a customer for such a long time, I'm entitled to a brand new phone, free of charge!!!"

Then he asked what my total month bill was. I asked him if he could tell since he knew I had been a customer for such along time.

Then he said "Oh my god, doesn't understand English" and then hung up.

SCAM written all over this number

Same thing, told me that they work alongside optus, and because "I'd been a customer for such a long time, I'm entitled to a brand new phone, free of charge!!!"

I told them I wasn't an optus customer... I am ;)

And he said "Oh... so.. you're..vodafone?" and I said, "Nope..."

Okay thank you maam BEEP BEEP BEEP.

I got a call from this number saying that because I had been an Optus customer for so long, I was eligible for a free smart Phone. When I questioned how it was possible and why Optus was calling from mobiles now (as I didn't believe them), the guy hung up

dont know who it is but i keep txting back to it with rude texts to get there attention and keep hanging up on them next time i,m going to use a whistle down phone and deaf them .

Stupid slut bitch called me. trying to get my details, sly c*nt.

Recently an Indian guy rang on my phone, check for a couple of unknown names and tried to steal my personal details. Be very mindful of him
