When people call you, dont answer, it means they want something from you. Give it up scammers. If you were actually the government you would already know everything about me.

Searched for this number while my phone was ringing; now blocked off based on previous comments.

Called back but went straight to a generic message bank... hmmm... more online shopping lately means I’ve had to provide my mobile number more often and I’ve found more and more unsolicited calls than ever... seems to be a correlation. Companies need to take our personal data way more seriously! A joke all round... what is this world coming to!?

Asked personal questions about my work from home status and if I'm under 60.
I politely wrapped up the call.

I googled them while I was on the call - nothing comes up.
Asked lots of questions about income and financial status, I blagged it because I was curious
Apparently an assessor is going to call me back tomorrow.
Sure this is a scam, but as I didn't given them any correct info and they had actually called my business number - will be blocking the number

Trying to entice into property purchase scheme claiming Tax incentives. No Thanks, I'll decide what and where I'll buy.

Caller: “Services Australia” / “Research”

Caller in a friendly Australian accent introduces themselves and the company followed by a script with the caller asking to verify either your home ownership status or your working status. They claim with this information they will be able to assess your eligibility for “government payments and/or subsidies”. Obviously this is absolutely never anyone’s business and regardless of interest we should never give away that information, especially the elderly. I explained politely I do not give away that information and was abruptly hung up on.
