Scam asking for identification. Asks about a link to click wants personal details. Block and delete SMS

Scam alert received a text confirming an order for a $4,000 camera. Stupidly rang them back and they answered as Amazon and gave a very elaborate spiel until it got to the point where thay wanted card number. They had a partial number (last four digits) of a debit card and the bank who issued so I think they may have hacked paypal account as that card is only associated with a paypal account, not amazon.
