It says that this number is not receiving incoming calls?

I took out a free ad with Yellow Pages (Sinesis) and the day after I had a call asking for donations to the Police Force (Vic) and have at least 10 calls from different mobile numbers that I have checked here with similar complaints. Perhaps it's no coincidence that the calls started after the ad was placed...

Country Wide Media. Called me earlier in the year to place add in the police and ambulance magazines. Have been calling ever since for further adds and donations. Very persistent calling. The call from other mobiles as well.

Pain in the neck spammers ...

They said there are Police and had questions, believe this is the same number.

Caller: Female masquerading as a Police and Communities employee, though not a uniform

The spin - a charity for women/children/some men who have been victims of family violence. I asserted that I did not want the call to be recorded (!) but the speaker forged ahead for 40 secs until I asked for her full name and serial/employee number. She wished me a good day and hung up.

I had a call, saying they had selected our business to buy a small advertising spot in their Police Journal, they only had 50 spots available and 45 were gone already. The smallest ad was business card size for $400 or there was a full page ad for $2,000. When I asked how they had sourced our phone number he said that the IT guys had made the list up. He wanted to send me an email while i was on the phone to him and have me respond yes to the email while i was on the phone to him. I asked him to call back in 10 minutes, which he did on a different mobile number 0478 287 019. In the meantime I had looked on the internet and confirmed my thoughts that this was a scam. When I confronted him about it being a scam he tried to give me a number to call for the Police Journal, I said no thanks I had already spoken to them. I said that I wouldn't be participating, he tried to tell me that he was legit. When I refused to believe him he said "unbelievable" and hung up.

I sent email back to say no thanks just had this number call man very aggressive and said I needed to pay up immediately . Scammers

Called me and I missed the call, tried to return it and says the number is disconnected.

A man called himself a police at first. Yet after a few questions he said hes from a police magazine.

An Australian man claiming to be from neighbourhood watch and asking for donations, I googled number as I was on phone to him and saw the above comments.

He claimed the was raising money on behalf of victoria police then when I questioned him he then said he was raising money for the homeless kids. I told him that I don't have any money and he would not take no for an answer.

He said to want me to sponsor his magazine. And he runs the campaign “Victoria police “ magazines

caller from this number asking to speak to the business owner. When I asked what business he hung up.

Trying to sell advertisement spot. Sounds like a big scam!

Wanted me to advertise in their gay friendly "Joy Boy" magazine. Became a bit aggressive when I declined.
