Just got a call from this number was an indian guy telling me similar to previous comments ...just said B@#&S*@T! & hung up.

Said they were from Telstra and had to run a program on the computer but was just trying to upload a virus that could
Monitor key strokes to get passwords and bank details.

Telstra calling about my internet connection. I was very polite considering I knew it was a scam & MY PRIVATE NUMBER HAS BEEN ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER FOR YEARS. As is my mobile number, but these criminals (alleged) keep on calling. WHY Can't SOMEBODY do SOMETHING TO to stop them???????????

Yep....this number 0449 280 866 just rang me today. I didn't answer.

Again same scam. Called 3 times told them I would call them directly and he said would cost me $10- 50. Said thats fine and hung up

Claimed to be from Telstra abt my nbn and a file that needed to be deleted. Not the first time he has called. I let him go on and on then hung up.

Called our business number and didn't speak. When I repeated 3 times the name of our company, 'can I help you?', he said in Indian accent 'I know lady, you bloody said that already' and hung up. Scammer!

Caller: Rude Indian man

Told us we had a problem with our internet. We've had a spate of these calls from a variety of mobile numbers. Told him less than politely where to go.

Called and began the usual internet scam. Told him I knew he was a scammer and to f**k off.

Claim to be Telstra and threats to cut off internet. When I laughed at him he called me as ess. When I laughed louder he hung up.

I'm in Perth - this mobile called but I didn't answer. The message I heard on Voicemail was just a few seconds of voices in the background, then they hung up. I looked up the number on this site and expected to get the usual "Sorry, no results were found for 0449 280 866". But to my surprise I see there is a list of complaints and comments about it! Scammers !

Said they were from Telstra, and I had a problem with my internet and had to be shut off for 2 weeks LOL, I think not good sir!

same excuse.when i said whats my name,he hesitated and said nbn here.

Got a call from the number 0449 280 866 claiming to be from Telstra. Cocky Indian guy said I have problem with my internet and it will be cut off. Asked me to right click on the computer da da da, I hung up. He kept ringing my number but i just ignored. He called 5 times so I blocked his number. What a nuisance. Pity our government or Telstra itself cant do anything about this.

Has called about 20+ times over the past 2 days and each time i answer they hang up. Its so annoying as i'm super busy at work and this idiot keep ringing. Fingers crossed I've managed to block the number now!

very rude, arrogant person telling me to 'listen to me' and that we had a problem with our internet. that it would be cut off for 2 hours, told him to get lost and that I was sick of scams, he said it wasn't a scam. he got very indignant and then I hung up...

Claimed to be from Telstra. Definitely not. Scam caller.
