It's not a scam at all. just a message service for high risk work licenses.

“Service NSW: Your [Service Request GSL Comp Card Class Text Short] interim certificate expires soon. Apply for a competency card https://bit.ly/2Nymhnb”
Does not look like a Service NSW web link. I’m exhausted by the number of scams receiving daily!

Notifications about license and certificate renewals for NSW. Legit, but would be nice if they confirmed people's phone numbers or had a way to remove incorrect numbers.

Caller: NSW Fair Trading Tells me my certificate/licence is expiring soon. Checked it myself, and I have 2 yrs left. Tells me to click on the link and pay overdue fees or call a legit fair trading number. Scam of some sort. How do they get information in the first place that you have a business licence and your mobile!

Total scam! Beware do not open the link. Says that it's from Fair Trading and my license is due for renewal. Almost got me but I now do not trust any random SMS messages as this has become the new norm.

Caller: Safe Work NSW Said my licence was coming through in 4 weeks, not sure for what though. Sounded sketchy. But they told me to ring 13 10 50 if there was a problem and that's the legit safe work number, so I'm not really sure what to think. Might just be an autoresponder.

Over six months history of this scam number being used and no action by authorities; disappointing. Text message requesting to click link (https://bit.ly/3yJamYn) to renew licence with NSW Fair Trading. Licence not due for renew.
