I've had 2 missed calls in the last few days from this number I pick up and it's blank on the other side I hang up and call back and it says Optus advises that the number you have called has been disconnected... Weird.

I keep getting calls from a Melbourne number. I let them talk them say "I like bananas" over and over again. It throws them off their script.

Got a phone call from this number asking for a person named Andrew. I said you must got a wrong number. I started to get suspicious because she asked me "but you're in Sydney right?". I just hung up straight away. Weird....

Also getting the same issue from these two numbers 0412 087 107 / 0411 771 430. Missed calls and when called back I get the Optus message, this number is disconected.

Number was left on my phone. I googled the number and found this site. Always google phone numbers u don't know.

I called back. 0439 687 782 after a missed call. They answered saying their name and that they were from Capital Wealth.

Had call from this number call back straight got rejected tried to call back again but got the Optus message this number is disconnected. Sent an Sms but no reply

I have had a missed call from this and other similar numbers. Hang ups or missed calls. When I ring back I get the Optus advises that the number I have called has been disconnected.
I wonder if they are trying to find out which numbers aren't active so they can use them in their scam, whatever it may be.

Had a lady called June leave a message but didn't seem to realise she was leaving a message. She just kept saying, Hello Lori, hello .... hello?? Hello Lori, this is June .... hello hello .... WTF????

Seems like lady wasn't expecting me to pick up on the first ring, so she pretended not to hear me and hanged up after 30 seconds.

Got a call from this number today. .. a "julie" was on the line and told me she had called the wrong number. If it was a wrong number why bother introducing yourself? Oh and the background noises indeed match those of a call centre environment. Something tells me they.do callplouts to find out which numbers are active so they can call and hassle you at another time

Missing calls from this number, no messages left, when called back, recording advises the number is unavailable.......

Training/education scam. Study online at your own pace. Claims to be govt recognized & don't have to pay until you earn $50k+ a year. Heard that a lot of these so called courses aren't even recognized or even worth the paper they're printed on.
