Silent on voicemail

Received multiple calls from 0439 372 898 and disconnects before answering. I did not answer after the second call, then the call goes to my voicemail and does not leave a message.I dialled the number and i get a message , "OPTUS HAS ADVISED THAT THIS NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED". Not sure what the motive is.

Go to https://www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/register-your-numbers/. It allows you to register up to 20 numbers and reduce the amount of unwanted telemarketing calls. It takes about 30 days, but after that you'll hardly get any calls except from charities.

Starts the call saying "This is Emily from ***. How are you?".

Only two people ask this question - people who know you, or people trying to sell you something.

I answered by saying "Do I know you?" to which she replied

"Bloody he!!, you don't even understand what I am talking about" and hung up.

Happy to have finally discovered effective strategy for getting rid of nuisance callers.

As soon as I answered, they hung up straight away. I tried to call back literally 1 minutes later and the message on the phone is "this number is disconnected" .... :\

Another crap sales call

I think it is a company called Custodian, they hassle you about attending a seminar on wealth creation and offer you a free mobile tablet. When you say you can't make it they ask you questions why you can't go. Irritating

sales call, non-stop talking after I answered the phone, finally got a chance to raise my voice to say Not interested
