Phone Fraud. they said they are calling from Macquarie Bank and asked me to verify myself

Caller: Macquarie Bank Mortgages

It was my bank, it was legit.

I rang back the number 0438 148 349 once but got disconnected

Called the number back, voice message said Mortgages Australia

Caller: A foreign accented female, claiming to be from one of my banks.

I told her that I was suspicious of this call as the banks never call me, especially from a mobile number. I did not call back as she requested, as you never know what may happen!!!! Obviously Scammers

I called back the number 0438 148 349 and reached vm that did not mention the company name
