A female with a scottish voice claiming that you have a won a prize of an I-pad in a Woolworths competition knows your name and asks if you are eligible to attend a meeting locally. She asks if you own your house, your approximate age, and then your approximate income. When I refused to give an approximate income, she hung up very fast with "Have a nice day". Scam looking to verify your details to hack accounts. BEWARE!

I received a call from an Australian guy asking if I remembered entering a prize draw and saying I'd won an android tablet then tried to get information from me about first home owners. I hung up.

I did a stupid thing and went in a facebook survey and answered all these question like the ones that everyone here is saying. I should have known better.
I just received a call from 0437 830 934 and as I don't answers numbers I don't know I ignored and placed the number in here. Thanks for all the people who have commented it has saved me time and energy wondering who it could be or worse having to speak to a telemarketer. blocked number know.

Guy said Infinity I had won online $1000 and android tablet. He needed to confirm my info.
I said it sounded like a scam he said I must have entered a comp online or Facebook. Clear Aussie accent
He spelt my Surname and asked if it was correct
Aged under 59? (sorry I can't remember exact number)
Then I had ticked home owner- I said this is not something I remember doing on a survey
Then my equality in my home under $100,00 - I said no I would not have gone this way. These questions are more like a census
He said no survey and said he could not help any further but would place my name in another correct prize pool.

I have received nuisance calls every day this week from random numbers all with the prefix of 0437...
I don't answer any of them, however they hang up and don't leave a message. I google the numbers and all of them are scam numbers. I block them straight away and the next day a different number calls!

Received a call from another number as well 0405 490 343 the "Indian" accent man new my name and left message saying "Chris call me now" I didn't call back

Same as previous posters. Male calling saying I'd won an android from a survey with Capital Wealth (Id not done a survey). I could hear the 'click' that recorded my voice so I hung up but not before saying 'yes' - he didnt catch anything else though or a 'no' which would be the anser to his second question....I figured it was voice recording/recognition scam and hung up. No option to call back. BASTARDS.
