Genuine SMS message from Westpac re credit card automatic repayment. Bank verified message in branch though it was sent in error.

I received a message from this number to saying "Hi, your loan documents are ready. Please check your inbox for our email. Thanks for choosing St.George Bank". I presume this is a scam as i don't bank with St.George

I have received a message from this number to say my credit card will be debited an amount on 28 July. When I called the number it said it was disconnected. Anyone else had this happen?
