Over the past week I have received calls from various numbers (all beginning with 0437) and none of them leave a message, ie:

0437 474 181
0437 804 392
0437 398 725
0437 094 081
0437 624 195
I've added these numbers to my spam list but hard to stop them ringing me. Very annoying to say the least.

If they're not in my contacts, I don't answer. If it is important, they will leave a message. These people are plain and simple scum.

Rude caller offering a free tablet which they could stick where the sun does not shine! How can you stop these schemers? Telcos are you listening?

This is a scam. Do not answer or accommodate the call.

I suspected it the moment the guy said that I’ve won a tablet from Woolies. I said that I have not entered to any contest or raffle and Woolworths will not just give such prize unless it is advertised. The guy kept on explaining and telling something about a survey. I didn’t listen and afterwards I pressed end call.

I received a call today from the same number. I could briefly hear the workings of a call center before they hung up. I have now blocked this number.

They don't answer on picking the call, disconnect in 2-3 seconds, keep calling from different numbers. Really annoying.

Pretending that we'd won a tablet via some online competition we'd entered. And wanting lots of personal info. But couldn't tell me exactly what competition I'd entered (I hadn't, I never do!) or when, nor what the tablet was we'd supposedly won. Amateurs!

Claimed to be from "croydon homeowners association saying I'd won a competition and won a tablet and answer personal questions to confirm ticket entry details. No such business exists

Got a call from a lady who caught me off guard she sounded nice claimed that i had entered a competition and won a tablet. I was shocked as i dont win anything. Caught up in the excitement i was silly enough to give her my work email address as she said she needed to reserve seats at a club to go to a seminar on house loans. I never received an email. I tried to call the number and there was no answer it went to message bank. Lucky i was vague with my personal answers but still stupid me****this is a scam*** do not answer
