this person is a scam artist, go to the cops...

I'm getting exactly the same thing! At first I thought this was a dodgy scammer, however they seem to be persistent with phoning me up to 3 x per day. We sold our house and settled in Sept 2015. We moved to a temporary unit for 6 months and transferred our power to the rented unit. All bills were paid and up to date! We then moved to another rental property where we again, transferred our power from the same company, Energy Australia. Our bills were always up to date. Once our 12 month lease was up, we moved for my husband's work, however the difference was.. we changed power companies as AGL offered better rates. Within 3 months of moving, we get a phone call from a collection agency stating we owed $700 from our original address nearly 2 years earlier. Like, what? I explained that we used the same power company during 2 house moves following the sale of our house and have no record of owing money. They were quite rude and insistent that we did, and so I phoned Energy Australia asking them why we were being rudely chased by an external collections agency, nearly 2 years after we had moved.. considering we had continued to use their power services for the whole time? It was crazy! They were also quite rude, and she responded from a script that hardly answered my questions. She said if I don't pay, they would pass my account back to external collections. I've come to believe that Energy Australia are dodgy and very unprofessional. My questions were never answered, and there was no solution offered. I heard nothing for another 12 months, until now! This agency is now phoning me out of the blue again, and they were quite aggressive. I told them I didn't owe money and they were quite rude so I hung up on them. They phoned again 2 weeks later, and I was in the middle of an exam and told them this. I asked if they could phone me back in 2 days where we can finally resolve this issue, however she wouldn't go!!! She was pushy and keep asking questions, saying it wouldn't take long. I reminded her I was in the middle of a timed exam. The only reason I answered is because she phoned from a mobile phone number, and I had been waiting for a quick confirmation call from a local tradesperson. I didn't have time for 5 millions questions! Yet she wouldn't agree to phone me back in 2 days, and continued being aggressive. I warned her I would hang up, and she wouldn't stop.. so I did! Every day I keep getting calls from different mobile numbers, and they never leave a message.

Energy Australia and the finance company are corrupt scammers, and I refuse to waste any more time on these people. Blocked!

I keep getting calls from panther finace I block the number but they call me on a different one they are sneaky and will do anything to get money

Some finance company demanding I pay a debt from Energy Australia from 2011(???????????) All accounts paid. Never been with Energy Australia! Changed from TRU Energy to Red many years ago because TRU energy had previously sent me an account that was 10months old. Think this firm buys debt from a company and then pursues.....This company must be on shaky privacy law, consumer law etc ground!!!!!! AVOID ANSWERING/BLOCK!

I missed the call, put my other mobile on private and rang back... They told me the number I was calling from even though it was on do not show caller ID.

They demanded somebody who they stated they spoke to on my phone 2 days earlier... Never spoke to them before and had this number over a year!

THIS PERSON CALLED ME TWICE! ASKING FOR "MICHELLE HIGGENS" AND THEN I TOLD HER THAT "YOU GOT THE WRONG NUMBER" AND THIS BITCH ASKED "HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THIS NUMBER FOR?"
IT DOESNT MATTER, IF YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER, YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER!! DO NOT PICK UP ITS A SCAM. ANOTHER PERSON CALLED ON MY MOTHER IN LAWS PHONE ASKING THE SAME THING BUT THIS TIME IT WAS A MAN'S VOICE!!!!!

Panthera Finance demanding I pay an account owing to Energy Australia from 2013 which I have previously paid. I told them to produce the account as this account was $123 which I paid in 2013. They are wanting $194. They just keep ringing.

Panthera Finance.. Cheap Backyard Debt Collection agency.. they call and say you owe money to ENERGY AUSTRALIA.. then pester and threaten you.. THANK YOU ENERGY AUSTRALIA you grubs.. I'll be putting this number on the back of toilet doors for a "good time" call

PANTHERA FINANCE = DODGY COMPANY.

This finance company scammed me of 400 last year and are trying again with another 1000+ dollars. Have reported them to finance ombudsmen and the ACCC. They are aggressive and try to bully you into paying debt which I did sadly. However will not pay another cent to them!!!!!! Neither of the debts they are chasing me for are on my credit file (I got report to check) DODGY COMPANY

They ring you say Hello they hang up. Sounds like a call centre
