Panthera Finance low life are adding new numbers daily, mostly mobile. In our case the target is someone with the same surname as us but unrelated to us, it does not stop their harassment though.

They call and won't tell me who they are but ask for my date of birth, address etc. so I hang up on them.

Took over a debt for my housemate. Personally paid his late bills to Origin Energy thrrough B-Pay. Great mate and he's on his feet again and paid me back the money but Origin Energy hasn't seemed to give this mob Panthera a heads-up and they've been calling me for years. All I can say is, thank God there are Australian laws that protect us from companies like this. This mob isn't even Australian. They're in Manila, Phillipines but Aussie companies outsource debt to them. It's very hard for them to get our money and a lot of the workers are probably poor and desperate but I can't deal with the incessant rudeness anymore. Just change your number or don't confirm your name anymore. I'n changing my number because I don't like sounding unfriendly when an unknown number calls but this is the way of the world these days :/ Say no to any agreement that's like TPP and we'll be ok. Cheers.

Unrelenting calls from a debt collector trying to collect a non existent debt. They're standard voice message is "please call, this is a very urgent matter" - they keep trying different numbers, I keep blocking.

Panthera have been chasing me for four years, on a debt that has nothing to do with me. They don't seem to be able to show me any proof that a debt exists, while still insisting that it's my responsibility to pay.
