I am the latest victim m. I was searching an apartment on different sites and visited the agoda. com too. I found one apartment suited to me in all aspects. A message from owner was "to contact him before making any booking". As I reached him through given whatapp he immediately replied and told another apartment was there on cushybnb. I booked and paid. when arrived Sydny found nothing but a single reply from him "sorry scammed". I am considering agoda. com responsible for it as I got diverted from there only. why they do have such people and allow them post such texts with advertisements to take customer anywhere. He looted not only the rent for 10 nights (AUD 1000) but also AUD 500 security money what he told I must get back.

it happened to us we paid by bank transfer and when we arrived to the address at Sydney there was no apartment and when we tried to contact him he sent a whatsup saying we have been scammed. We tried to report this to the police and they were aware but nothing they could do. Tried to open a file against him to avoid something like this happen to more people and they said had a cost of USD90. Really upsetting noboy stopped him to steal the money to people who only want to enjoy their holidays

I was a victim of this scam. Same technique by this person named Barry. I advise the victims to lodge your report to the local police as soon as possible.

Yes don't get scammed. Unfortunately I did and was too late to claw back the money. Don't get cheated. Please help to report to Agoda so that they can remove the listing to avoid more people being scammed.

Cushybnb.com is a scam.
Almost got caught out when the site asked to pay via direct deposit. Ever since I've cancelled the reservation, I've been getting random calls from overseas around midnight.

Yep...... nearly got me also. Book through Agoda then he pressures you for a $500 deposit. Through WhatsApp. He also uses a scam website called Cushybnb.

Hi Kylie!

Did you end up staying at the place? I'm also considering one of his Melbourne apartments but am a little hesitant because I've never heard of cushybnb.com before. He is asking for a $500 AUD deposit, did you go through a similar experience?

This is a number for someone named Barry Which only works through the WhatsApp. He uses this to rent out his Sydney apartment, however you transfer your money and then he never responds and when he does he asks for more money. Don’t get scam like I did, don’t trust this number.
Barry advertises the apartment on various websites and I found it on Agoda and when you contact he through this number he tells you that you need to go through website cushybnb.com and this is where the scam starts.
