Tried to scam me for tickets I was advertising for on gumtree. He said he was from Mornington and would meet me with the tickets but he told me they were digital tickets so I was very suspicious. Thank you to all those people who listed their complaint. You saved me money.

Tried to scam me on Gumtree for car parts (used photos of a car that's not his) luckily I was suspicious on the price and condition enough to look further into it, I then called him out and he stopped replying.

He strikes again, replied to a wanted car parts add I placed on gumtree, sent me images (later found out they were screen shots off eBay) got me $170, tried to stop payment but was too late, reported to bank and police. Hope they catch this low life preying on honest people.

Thank God for sites like this! I've just been contacted by this scumbag too after posting an ad on Gumtree wanting tickets. He is now going by the name J Russell. SCAMMER!

I put up a wanted add on gumtree and he responded very quickly and took $75 from me. He never sent out what he promised

This number is from an internet scammer. His name is K Keith. Don’t ever do business with this scum.

I got scammed on the paper as well and told me the same that's he works for the Mildura council $400.00 What a lowlife and he gets it where it hurts. phone number 61 432 051 854 . He claim to have some paper I was looking for. I placed the add on gumtree.

I got done big time for paper a value of 400.00 . I found about the trouble he has done today on here. Wish I had of know about this earlier.
Calls him self Jay Martin . Don't deals with him at all. He told me that he works for Mildura Council. his phone comes up with this number 61 432 051 854. Starts texting you about your add on gumtree etc and goes from there. No deals needs to be done with this number.

Please make a police report as well as reporting it to your bank as fraud. I have done this. It’s the only way the authorities (police and banks) can act. I’ve learnt that the power of numbers of complaints about this phone number & this individual(s) can alternately mean all the information gets linked up. No formal complaint or report and the police & banks can’t do anything.

I hope each of you who have been ripped off do this. It may only be $75 or $200 but the volume of people could be very big. He could be raking in 1000’s every week. Do a police report. They do data match and trace.

Ripped off $200 from me after I posted a gumtree ad looking for car parts, very mad, he used the name j Russell for the bank transfer and said he was in mulwa NSW, bank account was a commonwealth bank account

I bought an item on Guntree off of a different person after placing a WTB add on there. Literally less than 5 minutes after sending through the payment invoice for the item, I had a message from this scumbag (alias the same guy) offering me another one at a cheaper price. He had already scammed me once (me unaware at this stage) and he tried to get me again. His other phone # is 0413 462 801 and name was Matt Szu..... not one person listed on white pages with the same spelling

Scammed me of $200 on a similar gumtree advert that I put up looking for concert tickets. If you have details then get in touch some how as this guy needs to be stopped & I’m keen to assist.

The scammer used the name Nick with me when he contacted me about tickets I was chasing. Said he was from Maleny & I’m in Brisbane. Ripped me off for $210. Wish Id looked here before. Hoping there’s a way to stop him doing this to more. Anyone want to share any info with me of their experience please do & see where it can go. Reply & see if we can help each other out or at least stop him.
