calls from a various numbers and won't answer my calls. eventually, picked up the call and was told I won an android tablet and have to attend the prize giveaway ceremony at North ryde golf club.

Calls from a series of mobiles, 0424 743 259, 0424 740 524, 0424 738 461, 0424 702 729,....almost one a day for last week. When answered no one speaks unless I do first, must be a scam. Finally said 'hello' today, to then get a female ask for me by name and when questioned she said she was from Wealth something Australia, or that is what it sounded like. I told her she must have the wrong number and she said okay and hung up. Where do these people get numbers from, I have registered AGAIN with do not call register but that was only a few weeks ago so don't expect it to have 'locked in' yet. This is a great website, keep up the good work.

Most marketing business use mobiles these day over landlines & call through Servers which don't allow incoming calls as they have nobody to answer them, this is the reason the calls don't get picked up. Mobiles can be recorded through these systems and should be under Aus law. If they do not advise you that the call is being recorded it is more than likely coming from OS and I would recommend not taking the call. If it’s from Aus they have to abide by the Law and should you find that you have an issue with the caller make a complaint to the ACCC. Sometimes the info in these calls can be of use to some people, at the end of the day if you are not interested in what they have to say just let them know and ask them not to call again- you would be surprised how often this works. I have worked in the business and If they record your call and they don't remove your number from their list as you requested you have a better chance of a future complaint should they call back. As all recorded calls have to be kept for a min period of time should a complaint be made.

Have had multiple calls from this number - 0424 743 269 - asked for a "Mr" XXXX and when I said they didn't exist they hung up. They've called twice since and hung up - blocked now.

Just got a text message saying "I got a miss call from this number" strange as I had my phone on me and it certainly did not ring 😡

i got miscalled from this number,.a seconds after try id try to call back 3 times no answer

got that same call from this number today at 3:49 i rang back 4 times, hung up on once, and rest voice mail

received a call from this number and when I tried to call them back they hung up on me three times. Now I see from reading above that its some sort of scam.

Keep getting calls and hang up. I messaged and nothing. Call back they hung up. I had another no 0424 calling yesterday and today which i blocked and now this one stsrted up.

This Number calls and when i ring it back it is not available. First time

Second time it is Then disconnected
Third time goes to message bank what is going on here.
I suspect a scam call centre selling stale air for a credit card number.

This number just rang me, but nobody answered me??? Can't understand why they bother ringing.

Received a call from this number a few times, i answered it and was greeted by Wealth Finance Australia. I hung up and called them back and i keep getting hung up on. I've blocked this number however they have several numbers that they call from, i am up to 3 blocked numbers from the same people.

Got a call just now at 2.20pm Mon 20 June from this number. Rang me hung up. I rang number a hang up tone. Then I rang after 2mins. Number rang and they hung up immediately

Same vote I had 2 missed calls, first time I rang back, it rang out. 2,3,4,5 times ringing back there phone switcheducation off

Interrupted me and as I was waiting on calls for other purposes, I rang back 5 times and went straight to message bank, annoyed now. Thanks to this web info I can at least vent my frustrations.
