I rang once and got disconnected

Same as the bulk of the comments posted here. I answer the call and nothing on the other end then it disconnects. Then I got another call where a female voice rattled off something that I couldn't understand. I tried what Jerry Seinfeld did on one of his episodes and said to her. "I'm a little busy right now, can you give me your home number and I'll call you back tonight?" She hung up! I was gutted.

Caller: THEY DIDNT IDENITFY THEMSELF

This number has called several times. When trying to call back it goes to voicemail but sounds like the recording was made in someone’s pocket.

Finally did answer when they called... but they remained silent like they were recording your voice!!

Nobody on the end of the line so probablaby a spam call..

They have just rung me .... I kept on saying hello , hello as I was sure someone said something .... idoits

I called back and it wouldn't even go to anything it didn't even connect it said check the number and try again so am pretty sure its a scam

Caller: Indian woman answered

Had a few missed calls from this number so I rang back at night and made my number private, an Indian woman answered and I there was a baby crying in background along with an Indian accented male talking. She hung up the 1st time when asked who she was, I rang back and said I had missed calls from you and she said No you Haven't and hung up! So Weird! Don't know if I should be worried?

They’ve been harassing my little brother, so I picked up and asked who they were
They said they were my brothers friend (they knew my brothers name)
He was rude, I threatened to block and he said go ahead, so I hung up and blocked him

don't answer. they will record your voice. ITS A SCAM

It's a scam. They even knew my last name which is scary. They mention energex and then I went off my head and hung up on them they jeppnringing back. Block them.. Hate to think how many people they have scammed. Police need to do something about these a**holes

Message on call back sounded like a dodgy recording with noise in the background.
"Is on the phone right now. Sorry cant receive a message. The mail box is full?
Has to be a scammer! Blocked these crooks.....

Caller: Some a**hole

Answered because got sick of the continues call from the number and he straight up asked if I pay the bill I replied with are you trying to sell something he bit my head off then said I want to know if you pay your electricity bill I said it’s none of ur business as I don’t know who you are yelled at me so I yelled back and they hung up on me. Don’t understand why if I have registered for do not call they still annoy me

I finally answered as had 3 missed calls today alone. Person with “American” accent (likely Philippines) answered and introduced where they were from. Sounded like Energex but when I said “please take me off your call list, I’m not interested she got annoyed and said you don’t even know why I’m calling. I said Energex and I’m not interested, please take me off your list. She got another again said “I’m not from Energex” and hung up on me. Win!

Yes, I got the call from this number 4 times, when I tried to call back, it was disconnected. Had this number blocked.

dodgy - dont call back
