Claiming to be from the police to advertise business. Scam

Called. Didn't leave msg. Tried calling back. Dodgy this call can't connect: will block number asap

Claiming to associated with Police and Streetsmart campaign. I mentioned that he's called a private number (my mobile) - he rambled loudly and hung up?

Called this morning re my fb page that they believe it is a business. Then they asked do I have a business.

Again they said they where some "police" thing and sound Australian.

Same as the other people here. I was caught out with this scam four years ago, thinking I was actually helping the local police. Have asked them to take me off their phone list numerous times now and every year I get hassled by them to buy more advertising space.

Claims to be some police organistion wanting us to advertise. Ive been caught out in the past with this type of scam.
