Text message asking to email only about gumtree item for sale. Scam.

this person texts me after I advertising gumtree item for sale: here his said:
Hi mate my father is keen to buy your bike on gumtree kindly write him back on seths19734 @ gmail.com for correspondence.Cheers.
After I email to his father this what I got:
Thanks for the reply mate, I'm fine with the condition as described on the advert, I won't be available to view because I’m recovering from surgery and my phone is not active as I am still at the hospital after. can you assure me i will not be disappointed? also no shipment involved as i have a mover that will come for it., but there are few things i would like to know about it.  (1) are you the first owner  (2)Let me know its condition  (3)Your last asking price (4)send me the pictures.

As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit (EFT),using PayPal instant bank wire transfer service, I will need your bank details and I will make the payment through PayPal facility to your bank account, all I will need is your acct number, BSB number and acct name. With the issue of my details, transferring the name of ownership and signing of all paperwork will be done by the freight agent so you don't have to worry about that.

Scam, txt from gumtree said email email directly, I ignore and put on block

on 23/3 /21 I received an email from kburgess570@gmail .com in response to a advertisement I placed in Gumtree for sale of tables. Person offered to buy tables for daughter but said unable to examine but would pay into my bank account and wanted my BSB and account number . Also said he would need to have tables delivered and would pay further $200 to account and arrange for Steam card to pick up. This person is a scammer as others have reported.

Person from 0421 661 655 texted me responding to my gumtree ad. Asked me to reply email only. I texted (not emailed) back but no reply. An hour later another text from same number with a different email address. Scammer. I have blocked this number

Same here. Person texts saying mom is interested and wants price and condition of item. I email and get response saying item is fine and wants to pay using Paypal. Reply was typed poorly in English and seemed off. MF time wasting scammer piece of sh*t.
