Wow, thank you. I just received the same call from Michael from Fire and Emergency Magazine, telling me I agreed to advertising in a phone call in January. I told him I didn't remember agreeing to this. I then received a follow up call from Kim asking if I would like to pay by credit card over the phone and received a 10% discount. I called them back after calling Fair Trading and they have magically "cancelled" the ad!

Crime Prevention Australia Magazine. Cold call regarding advertisement we apparently spoke about in April. This number called me several times in April, however all went through to message bank. I'll wait for the next call and see where we go from here :)

Don't answer this number they are complete scammers

This is the 2nd time in a week i have received a call like this. This person did not give up their name or where they were calling from. Last week they called on 0431 175 102. I reported this to scamwatch also

Fraud / Scammers demanding I pay for advertising which I did not approve!

Just received call from guy pretending to be yellow pages. Seeking address & person to address too. Had this number call numerous times pretending to be different organisations - when confronted they soon bow out.

Scammer pretending to be from some magazine regarding advertising I had agreed to in November

I received a call from "Gary" on this mobile number pretending to be from Yellow Pages Marketing and obtained my name and got my mailing address so they could post out marketing material. Then I received another call from this mobile number from someone pretending to be from some charity magazine about advertising I had agreed to in November. When I asked him for details of the advertisement he said he would find out and get back to me and then he hung up. Haven't heard from him again.
