Keeps calling, wont leave a message and when I call back there is incoming call restrictions - I think its a scam

called me, then hung up. tried to call back was told there were incoming call retsrictions

No message left and incoming call restrictions when I call on a different phone number (hey I'm not using the number they called!!!).

They keep calling me, but they call like 10 times a day and most of the time it's in the evening. Just now they called, then 2 minutes later, and now again, 😨 this will go on all day, tmrw, next day and the next.. I'm so glad I have them blocked, which blocks the number immediately.. I just wish they would go away..

A guy spoke introducing himself from Social Insurance in Sydney. I have been inundated with similar land line calls on life insurance, funeral insurance, and whatnot! I mentioned the latter to the caller and expressed my disinterest in his call. He stated that his call was a survey. I told him politely that I am terminating the call and he became rude indicating that I initiated the survey?. There was no voice mail.
I am a professional accountant and transiting as an aged pensioner. It is annoying to be stalked.

They are using a SIP proxy to mask the number when they call. As long as the number is not leased to anyone, it's open slather for anyone talented to use a SIP (or the like) connection.
