Received message with my first name and a ‘security code’

Received a text message saying:
Please kindly confirm your appointment with Dr Sharada Devadas at 9:00 am on 08/11/2023. Reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel. Ph. 9680 2708
Have never booked an appointment with the doctor.. suspicious message! !

2nd time I’ve got this random text

Sent me “security number” - looks dodgy

I got a text saying: “Appt with Dr Xu on Thu, 14 Oct 2021 at 11:00 AM. Reply 'Y' confirm or 'N' cancel. If you have a temp or flu like symptoms please phone prior to your appt.”

Caller: A scammer
