I called back the number 0416 184 457 and the lady on the other line did not mention the company name

Caller: The normal indian call centre - we have been advised you have been in a car accident

OMG hilarious!!! Calling me advising that they have been sent my details from my insurance company about a car accident I have had (which I haven't), asked her what is the name of the insurance company had advised her of this which of course could not answer and asked again to confirm if have had an accident.. I asked her with my most professional and concerned voice what is the name of the insurance company that passed on my details to her.. she prattled off a few different names and then said " I don't know who sent us your details, we got them off a list", by this stage she had started raising her voice and getting quite frustrated.. asked her again where the list came from after going silent for a while and keeping her guessing if I was even still on the line.. she again said she doesn't know,,, told her to call me back when she has some more information.. hung up and blocked.. love these calls, makes my otherwise boring day that little more exciting.. they are persistent aren't they calling from so many different numbers each day
