I rang them and they answered the phone as Support Centre Australia. When I said that I had a missed call from them she said that it wasn't from her but she could look it up to find out what it was about. I was then asked questions about my name, postcode and income and they tried to talk me into accepting a callback for an insurance comparison quote.

I don't answer if I don't know the number. They don't leave a message so I know it's someone trying to sell me something or a scam

Yes I had the very same experience & agree, I felt they were after enough personal details to do an identity theft

I received several calls from this number and decided to answer it today. They asked if I had funeral insurance and when I said I had a financial advisor they then asked if I had a dog or cat, I said I had a dog and the proceeded to ask if I had pet insurance I confirmed we did I did my homework and found out they used to be ACU Solutions in 2015, Alliance Contact Group in 2017 and 15/2/17 changed name to Support Centre Australia otherwise known as Austel Marketing (Call Centre). The company by this name is situated on the Gold Coast in Australia, I phoned the company to find out if they have staff calling from mobile phones was answered but nobody to talk to me at the time. They said they will return my call, I will post a new comment once I have heard back from them.

they called me, said they were from support centre Australia, asked me how i was and when i said good thank you they hung up. I immediately called the number back but was put on hold for ages.

Just got a call from this number, and it hung up as soon as I answered. Called back to hear I was in a cue for "Support Centre". Leave me alone!

This is spam and could be a scam.
They make themselves sound professional and call themselves support centre Australia.
They will try and sell you funeral cover.
Say it's none of their business when they ask if you have a funeral cover policy.
Very suspicious and I believe they are from overseas scamming Australians.

Call repeatedly no one one the line. When I call back no answer however they answered today said it's their computer system calling. Don't them to never call again she tried to say but your data is in our system! My response get my no. off your system and never call again.
