This number and three others tried to convince my wife that they were from Qld. Paramedics. The numbers are:

They wanted $550 for her to advertise her business in some publication, just like the other 'police' scams.

Yes its a scam number so is 0431 078 695 0431 454 686 0431 474 879 0449 890 049 0451 470 355. Its a woman and two blokes that go by the name of Jack Jones and Bob Jones. Called QLD police and those numbers are not assosicated with them or their Union. Also reported those numbers to Scam watch. Download an app on your phone and you can block those numbers.

Rang my mobile, would not give me there name and accused me of wringing them, I said that I had not the man on the end of the phone kept telling me I had rang him, he then became very abusive using extremely bad language, quite disturbing

It actually isn't a scam - just a very annoying Media company who are selling advertising space in both Police, Ambulance & Fire journals.
I have advertised with them a year ago and have seen the Journals in the local police station (with my advertisement in there).
They are very persistent as they keep calling me to re-advertise.
I won't be as I didn't see a positive ROI but just letting you know it is an actual company called 'Emergency Media'

Yes this is a time waster saying they are raising money for a police publication

They called me asking for money as well, but when you call them back its an outbound number only. 0431 454 686 is another number they are using.Feels like a scam

I got that call this morning ask me for help police by buying gold, silver.. from him????. I said : "sorry no help from me , I have no money "

A girl called me today from this number... She tried to use the "police" as her employer... After I continued it was clear this was a dodgy firm trying to steal money.

Definite impression gained that caller's intentions may be sinister, beyond mere annoyance.
So, please be careful folks when interacting with caller from this number !!!!

definitely a scammer. I had him call me on a landline first, trying to get me to advertise in a police magazine, afterwards i got a missed call from this number and then got a follow up call on my landline to advertise in the magazine. I declined the second time he called after I had done some quick research on what this scammer was up to.

Got a call from this money trying to solicit money for advertising in some journal. Considering I have nothing to advertise, it sounds pretty dodgy to me.

Received a missed phone call, I tried to call back straight away, but it rang once than says line busy, hanged up. So I think its a dodge mobile phone number.

Received a call yesterday. Tried to call them several times and they hung-up after one call. Sent a SMS to this number yesterday and today, I got a message that SMS did not get delivered.
