Sent a message stating that my bank account has been locked due to unusual activity and included instructions to follow a link to a bogus web site. Scam.

They claimed to be an optus billing team, stating that there was a problem with my last payment and to update my payment details. it is a scam! do not click on the link within the SMS.

i received a text message saying -

yay see on the 15th 1pm xoxo

wouldn't return my messages or answer my call

This number send SMS pretending to be Optus billing team and require me to update credit card information. 100% scam. Block and report straight away.

Received msg from this number claiming to be optus billing service with a link. I don't have an optus account and it was sent at 3am.

Same as the above. Reported to Scamwatch (not sure if that really does anything though).

SCAM

Claiming to be Optus Billing and sent me a URL.

Received a text message this evening, claiming to be from Optus and for me to update my details to satisfy new NSW Government legislation. Total scam of course. Just deleted message.

called them selves optus billing team and asked me to enter credit card

Gave them a mouth full

No name, so sensed a scam. Didn't click on the link, as it had my mobile number in the suffix. Went to the root URL from a PC. Knew they would record my keystrokes, so left them a nice little profanity laid message... several times. ;)

Same scam here directing to "www.netbanksecure.com"

Can confirm I got the same message about my bank account- scam number.

It's definitely a scam. Don't ever click the link sent in the SMS.
