It's the number from some automated messaging program that companies use to send appointment reminders. Not a scam, just means whoever booked the appointment put down the wrong number.

I got an sms from this number that read:

"Hi Guiseppe, reminder about your appointement at Bupa Optical Perth on Thu 30 Jun at 01:30 PM. Please reply Y to confirm or N to Cancel. Thanks!"

I replied saying "I think you have a wrong number". Guessing it's a scam so won't bother trying to call it.
