Lady has called and started asking question about did I go to church, was I married, how many children did I have, did I want more. Were my friends married, did I have sex for pleasure, did I think it was OK for someone to marry someone 25 years older. I explained I wasn't gong to answer her questions, she said sorry and hung up.

likewise had this call come through. i'm a church leader so presume got the number that way. perhaps a prank caller, but also could be an older man with a feminine voice seeking help. must call lots of different folk randomly

Yep. same as all of the above. First call on Saturday and then THREE calls today. same stuff about religious beliefs re celibacy, pre marital sex, older man marrying younger woman etc etc.
First call, I spent 10 minutes answering his / her questions before excusing myself from the call.
This morning I just suggested they needed to not ring me again.
Allegedly from Melbourne and allegedly got my name from Yellow Pages.

I had the same as the above messages. She asked lots of questions about being called to being single. Questions about dating. It was a very weird conversation and she doesn't want to let you get off the phone

I've had the same experience as these previous comments have outlined. I do sincerely believe however that this is a lonely old woman with mental health issues, meaning no harm. I have directed her to call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

A woman called me today questioning me about my religious beliefs and views surrounding sex before marriage and celibacy.

This lady wanted to know about marrying a man 20 years older then me, if women enjoyed sex as much as men, having 9lb babies, should catholic priests be able to get married, and many other random questions.

This lady rang and never introduced herself but launched into asking all sorts of questions about beliefs. She became very irate when I didn’t want to answer her questions.
