This number is an "Australian Contact Centre", trying to sell life insurance. Don't even bother calling them back.

Had numerous missed calls, including on weekend, on my work phone. Finally answered one and they hung up. I phoned back, it was Contact Centre wanting to talk about life insurance. I pointed out it was my work phone and I would appreciate them removing the number from their records. The woman was extremely rude and abruptly ended the call. She did say initially it was being recorded for training purposes, I think more training might be in order!

This is a phone number for a place called the Australian Contact Centre. Sounds like a place that does telemarketing. They said they were calling on behalf of a life insurance provider.

This number called me multiple times with 1 voice mail saying it was a Life insurance company. Continued to call me and left no further voice mails

Telemarketer, Selling life insurance for Asut Contact Centre, asked why he was calling on work mobile, presented a fictional story of must have been provided by prior owner of work mobile. Query how they attained my work phon details.

I have had similar experiences to the above. I had missed several calls. Today at lunch time I went to answer it and they hung up. I have not called them back and am blocking this number on my phone. Thanks to everyone for the heads-up.

They're still at it - my latest call from these jokers was 26 Sept 2016. Said it was something like a quiz or questionnaire regarding insurance. Rather insolent male caller questioned why I would prefer him not to call. He's probably still waiting for the answer, but I terminated the call myself.
