Phone rings. I answer it. Silence on the other end of the phone for a while, then the caller hangs up. Annoying !!!!

Caller: NBN disconnection This is a recorded message advising as you are now in an NBN area, you will be disconnected unless you press "1" to connect to a technician and PAY THEM WITH CREDIT CARD DETAILS. I think not.

Caller: Illegal Con Artist Indian caller connected through. Said they are putting our number on their Do Not Call Register, then they said we pay our phone bill via direct debit & are a customer of theirs in postcode 4509, but the credit card they have on file expires 2020 so.... [I interrupted here to say we aren't a customer & hung up] They were clearly trying to get credit card details over the phone & had no knowledge of who I was & did not state their company etc.

Caller: Said she was from the Government Said she was going to stop my nuisance calls but needed my card number and expire. When I refused she continued to call me at least 15 times. In the end my daughter had to tell her to piss off and stop calling this number.

Caller: Fake Telstra A recorded voice told me they were going to disconnect my phone and internet service and that I should press a number on my phone to connect with someone to try to fix the problem. LIES. This is not telstra, it is some grubby little criminal who is trying to steal money! NEVER press any number on your phone because an idiot recorded message tells you to.
