short delay in the call connecting, can barely hear the person, its about saving on Energy costs, very persistant so i hung up

Same as above, very annoying and persistent. Now I either ignore them or tell them I'll get the manager, put them on hold, and see how long they stay on line (current Record:1m15secs). Waste my time: ditto.

They asked for all the information someone needs to steal your identity, DOB, medicare or drivers licence number, they say they need to run a credit check on you. Never in my life have I had a legit power company ask these things or need a credit check. In addition the guy said they had been helping people with their power for almost 20 years, when I pointed out they had only been a registered company since 2011 so 5 years he made up some rubbish about being outsourced before then. I told him to work legally in Australia you have to have an ABN. This smells of so much scam it is not funny.

Call went straight to messagebank, despite phone sitting beside me on couch at 3/4 volume (and I'm not deaf), with no message left. Attempts to call back resulted in my call be discounted.

Just had a call from this number - was silent for 10 secs then a voice came onto the phone wanting to speak to the Manager about our Electricity Account. She asked for a particular person and I said they were busy and could I take a message. I then promptly hung up on her.
