this number rang me and left a message saying it was blake wanting to know about our ad on gumtree, rang back but no answer think it's a scam

let me help you all out they claim to be from telstra and there full of it because they dont have telstra ids and also there is a fair delay after you pickup the phone so most people think its a prank call but its not its just that the criminals haven't got enough brains to hide there phone calls without the delay because there better at other things so bring it up with friends family and the people that count and look after each other

i have received several calls from idiots claiming to be from TELSTRA threatening to cut my internet connection and when i challenge them for there id they hang up the phone now i missed some calls during the day and *10# and write down the number now im not sure if this is from the same people but i call back the number and it either rings out or they hangup instantly its my believe that these are the same scumbags that con people to connect to a website where they can lock your hard disk content then ask you for money to open it these pricks have been using different tactics for years and now one is doing nothing to stop them which makes me laugh because if you think about it. IT SHOULD BE A NATION SECURITY ISSUE peoples information being stolen

Your phone Company employ's people to call numbers then hang up knowing that most people will call back and when they do they are charged for the call. Next time they will use a different number. It's a "business" racket. If it annoy's you too much call your local member for parliment and tell them to do something about it and get them to report back to you with their findings. That is their job.
