I called back number (03) 9999 1214 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

Called me numerous times. Eventually I picked up the call. A male caller asked if I attended a recent Melbourne Art Show and entered a draw for a free Bali trip which I did. He immediately asked which was my current electricity provider etc. I declined to answer. I told him that I was ok with my provider and did not want to continue with the conversation. When he kept asking the same questions I hung up. He then tried to call me several times and I didn’t answer, and blocked the number 99991214.

I tried calling back to this number, but Telstra message advised that this number is not connected. I therefore suggest that it is a scammer and the scammer is using equipment which creates a fake caller id number to conceal his/her true identity and location.

I have had calls from this number which I haven't answered. Yesterday I answered & male voice was unintelligible due to total static on the line. I assumed it was a scam call.

Male called, asking for me by name asking me if I went to the recent home show,? when he was asked to confirm his identity and remove my details from any contact list he hung up. Suspect to be a scam or unsolicited sales call.
