This number keeps calling and they say 'this is your energy provider' I asked them 'and who is that as I live in the NT and you are calling from a Melbourne number and all energy providers are owned by NT Government'. All they then said was 'oh you must not be the authorised person on the account' and hang up on me. They still continue to keep calling me. I have blocked this number as I'm sick of them.

I find it hard how they have a list of mobile numbers so something is very wrong with A.C.C.C. of to whom I have complained.

Called 6 times in 3 days on the last call I cot frustrated and before he spoke I asked " is this call about power?" He called himself Barry and said that he "wasn't calling about the power he was calling to explain about the power". Pain in the arse I've blocked and have passed on to others

what annoys me is that I don't have an electricity account so how can I change providers every time they change numbers and ring me again with the same rubbish and I work out who they are I just save them under telemarketers and the next time they ring I don't answer it they can ring me as often as they like I wont answer them

Hey peoples best to have an umpires whistle handy and when they call answer and blow that whistle hard

The reason for all the hangups is the number is an autodialler to a registered Australian Number when you answer, the call is then switched to a call centre (usually O/S) and if all lines there are utilised the call hangs up.

Just received a call from this number. It says they're calling from a local number but there is interferance/delay. Called about electricity and said I lived at an address that I don't live at and then asked what my actual address was! Nice try buddy! I asked them to take my number off their caller list which they legally have to do so we'll see how that goes.
